If you have many forms to file at once, or you are a tax preparer filing on behalf of multiple clients, consider using one of our upload options:

Option A: QuickBooks Online Plus and QuickBooks Online Accountant — All vendors flagged as 1099 vendors will be transferred automatically and instantly, from your existing QuickBooks® Online Plus or QuickBooks Online Accountant account straight into your e-file account. Option B: QuickBooks Desktop Plug-In — Install our QuickBooks Plug-In, if you use QuickBooks desktop software, to easily export all your 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC form data in the correct format and automatically have your tax data loaded into the 1099 form.

Option C: Xero API — Import your 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC data straight from your Xero account. Learn more about Xero and efile4Biz here.

Option D: Excel Template — Download our Excel template to file multiple form types. It provides predefined columns for all the required payer, recipient, form and amount fields. You can copy and paste data from other reports/systems or fill in the fields directly for uploading.
