Hindustan Copper Limited exploration, exploitation, and mining of copper and copper ores in India. It also engages in the beneficiation, smelting, and refining of minerals. The company offers continuous cast copper rods, copper cathodes, copper concentrates, copper sulfate, sulphuric acid, reverts, anode slime, and nickel cathodes. It also exports its products. Hindustan Copper Limited was incorporated in 1967 and is based in Kolkata, India.

Hindustan Copper Limited was established on 9th November 1967 with the objective of “Ensuring Self Sufficiency” in Copper Production in India. HCL was then merged with its subsidiaries: Malanjkhand Copper Project, Madhya Pradesh, Indian Copper Complex, Jharkhand, and Taloja Copper Project, Maharashtra.

To emerge as a global leader in Copper Industry, by providing Mining and beneficiation services to the copper industry in improved environment friendly sustainable manner and to maximize value creation for all stakeholders while adhering to applicable legal and statutory framework.

Our vision is to be recognized globally as the custodian of copper industry in India, delivering benefits to the nation and actively contributing to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
