Maiden voyage was on April 8th, 2016. Sister ships are MS Nieuw Statendam, MS Nieuw Rotterdam, and Cunard Queen Anne.

This ship continues some of the best features of this line including the Culinary Arts Center, exclusive adults-only area, and amazing specialty restaurants. New to this line is the French-style brasserie, a double-deck, glass-roofed Lido Deck, where evening movies are screened; a huge theater with a giant surround screen; a partnership with a venerable Washington State winery; and the lines first family cabins and solo cabins.

There are 1331 total staterooms on board, with the largest being the Pinnacle Suite.

Passengers booked in the Neptune and Pinnacle Suites will enjoy bonus perks by the Club Orange program including an exclusive dining venue, Club Orange Restaurant. Also included are priority services, 24-hour concierge service and desk, room service, and sparkling wine on embarkation day and luxury robes and tote bag.

Guests can create their own wine at Blend wine-blending venue. The onboard Culinary Arts Center offers plenty of hands-on cooking, wine pairing, and mixology workshops.

Nightly entertainment can be found at the main show lounge, The World Stage, which features LED screens that can move into different configurations. Live entertainment can also be found in the Music Walk area which houses venues such as Lincoln Center Stage & B.B. Kings Blues Club, Rolling Stone Rock Room, and Billboard Onboard. Nighttime movies can be found at the 2-deck outdoor cinema.

Kids have their own space at Club HAL, which has complimentary kids programming. There is also The Loft which is for teens including a video games arcade, playstations, and a teen disco. Outdoor entertainment can be found at the sports court which has pickleball, sun decks that spread over 3 floors and include swimming pools and jacuzzis, and the walking/jogging track.

Adults have their very own sundeck/relaxation zone with private cabanas for rent. The Wellness Complex consists of a fitness center, and Greenhouse Salon & Spa with therapy rooms, Hydrotherapy pool, thermal suites, sauna, steam room, relaxation area, and salon. Adults can also enjoy the casino, and the many lounges and bars on board.
