Membership in the VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union is open to the following persons:

1. Employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs, who work for VISN 22 or are employees of the VA Healthcare Network in the Las Vegas, NV area.

2. Employees of the Veterans Canteen Service and all other federal employees assigned to duty at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22 or the VA Healthcare Network in the Las Vegas, NV area, on a full-time basis or on a regularly scheduled part-time basis.

3. Employees of Veterans Service Organizations and of the American Red Cross assigned full-time duty at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22 or the VA Healthcare Network in the Las Vegas, NV area.

4. Employees of Seaside Child Development Center who work in Long Beach, California.

5. Regularly scheduled volunteers, who serve at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22 or the VA Healthcare Network in the Las Vegas, NV area.

6. Medical trainees (formerly employees) of affiliated educational institutions who work or train at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22 or the VA Healthcare Network in the Las Vegas, NV area.

7. Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment.

If you qualify for membership, so does any member of your immediate family including your spouse, child, sister, brother, parent, grandparent, and grandchild.

How to Join

To become a member of VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union, simply open a savings account with us for as little as $50 and pay a $10 one time membership fee. Your $50 savings account is your stake in the credit union, making you a member and a part owner.

*Important: To avoid unnecessary delays, have a valid state or government issued ID available. If your ID has an address that is not what you will use as your physical address, please note you may have to provide a utility bill (water, gas, electricity) that reflects your current address.  Also, you may give us a P.O. Box as your mailing address, however, we must have your physical address stored on our system at the time of membership establishment.
