Hey everyone, it’s my first post here. Does anyone experience their Valorant loading taking too long when at the loading screen before the in-game. And do you also experience the same issue when returning back to the lobby after match? Another thing is, on the agent arslanarslan

Bucky I have been having this issue for a while and just recently I got it fixed, I don’t know what was the fix was but a few things I did was, update my graphics drivers, reinstalled the game onto my main drive, made sure that the riot client and valorant were installed on the same driver I hope this helps! arslanarslan I have done quite literally every single option on this post lol.. even BEFORE ever seeing this page. I've looked it up on YouTube, and nothing helps. My specs can run the game just fine. When I press "play" on the Riot Client it takes minimum around 4 minutes to take me in. When I queue for any game mode (Deathmatch, TDM, Comp, etc) literally any game mode except for custom I get stuck on the "Match Found". For example, today I queued a deathmatch, got stuck in "Match Found" for like 3 minutes and loaded in once everyone was already moving and fighting. I queued a TDM, got stuck got stuck in "Match Found for like a couple seconds, loaded in, picked my agent (which to my surprise loaded in lol) and when there were like around 38 seconds left in agent select the game freezes. Even worse, it just completely crashes my computer. Sometimes when I try to alt+tab or alt+esc it just freezes and I am forced to turn off my computer by holding down the button on the PC case. The worst thing is that I am getting the penalty warning for dodging. Again, I loaded up into a TDM and picked Raze, and when there were 10 seconds left, the whole thing just froze. Obviously, there is nothing I can do because it freezes the whole computer and I can't turn off the PC because I dodged and I'd get a penalty. So I am forced to wait it out. Turns out someone else dodged and I knew that because I heard "Select Your Agent" on the NEXT game (remind you I am still stuck on the 10 second Raze screen) and FINALLY after getting off that screen it loads the screen where it just shows the map when someone dodges and I got stuck there. Then I get loaded into the lobby with a penalty warning on my screen. Sent them an email, they helped out and it worked for a while, like a week and a half and then just broke again. the problem is probably on valorant cus cs2 takes like under 10 or 10 seconds to load in my pc and valorant takes forever (not to mention cs2 is grapichally more intensive) Sempaiii
fryman same here. It takes more than 3 to 4 minutes to load a game while in cs2 it takes barely some seconds. Dunno the fix to that. Some say try installing valo on your ssd SidTurtle

This is happening to me for over half a year now, every single time it takes 3+ minutes to load into a match and then you get a penalty for being afk....Aawesome. Tried reinstalling valorant on different disks and nothing changed.At the same time i can load into a cs2 game under 10 seconds so i really dont know what tf is going on but its really annoying. sanne
I've had the same problem. I contacted riot about this and they told me to try and download the game on my main drive. This helped for me kyoml001

When my friend started playing valorant he had this problem too. It turned out that Valorant really dislikes HDD. So if possible, try to switch to SSD. If you can't change the disk, there are a couple of options. *Free up as much disk space as possible. *Defragment the disk *Run 1-2 deathmatch (not a team one) before your favorite other mode, the system caches repeated requests and subsequent loads will be almost instantaneous. Default deathmatch does not give any offences, so after the end of loading you can immediately quit and start the next one. Diavolo

So i was dealing with this problem for a long time to the point of getting banned because people reported me for not loading in fast enough. i figured out that i had my valorant folder (The game files minus Vanguard) not in my SSD. i continued to have the problem until moving the folder and game back into my C drive (My SSD). so i would try that I hope this helps, i was dealing with this for months and nobody knew how to fix it (if you have exausted all other rudimentary options) st3llitsa

Hey guys sorry to reopen this thread but yes after 1 yr of playing valorant on same laptop i have facing same problem with 3+ minutes to open the game, agent not getting load after selecting it , 2-3 min to get in compi custom or unrated or any mode , if someone dodges it takes 2-3 min to get back and i get dodge warning GTX 1650 chocochip
Kaushlendra okay after looking at this i can see that the problem is not in my spec since mine is way worse than yours, ive been running 200 fps for 2 years and now i can barely run 100, idk whats happening to my game i can literally run any other game except val (责任编辑：) |
